Healthy Aging Programs
Today, you can expect to live for 30 years longer on average than people lived when Family Service began in 1911. This is great if you are pretty healthy. Healthy aging involves taking charge and taking care of yourself so that you can continue to enjoy the interactions and activities that give your life meaning and purpose.
Supporting healthy aging for people in our communities is one of our missions at Family Service.
We offer a number of complimentary classes that give you tools and resources to take charge of your life and live well. All of these are research and evidence-based courses. That means the courses were developed based on research to meet critical needs. They’ve proven to be successful at improving health for people surveyed in post-class studies across the nation.
