Phil Chmielewski, MA, LCPC
Every person is unique. The life circumstances of each person are unique as well. My approach reflects this perspective and so, in a sense, each person I meet with is “brand new” to me. One size does not fit all when it comes to counseling, so I do my best to meet each person with flexibility in my approach.
How I can help
I have worked in the field of mental health in one capacity or another since 1987. I have worked and done research on psychiatric units in Chicago and locally. I have worked with the neuropsychology services of both local hospitals, and I was a Youth Services case manager at the Pavilion for 6.5 years. I have worked with children and their adoptive families in a non-profit agency for over 8 years and have worked in two different private practices.
Having worked with children, adults and seniors has helped me learn to be flexible and well rounded, I believe. If you or a loved one is in need of someone to talk to, we are here to help.
